Kangaroo was developed as a part of Student Service Design Challenge. The brief requested a service that would increase the wellbeing of its users.
We developed a proposal for a service that would make it easy for organisations to rent a pop-up children's area, complete with a qualified childminder, where parents can leave their child in capable hands while engaging in activities that are otherwise inaccessible to them.
The service received Honourable Mention at the awards, placing us in top 4 out of 90 teams that applied. The jury statement called the service "a valuable blueprint for the establishment of similar spaces in diverse communities and for different target groups in need of support and connection".
